Advieh

I was commissioned for the brand-refresh of Advieh Cafe, creating a refreshed identity that spanned logo development, graphic illustrations, printed collateral, and updated shop signage.

 

The goal was to craft a visual language that reflected the cafe's unique blend of Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, and British influences.Through research and development in country and colour, I came to the design solution of involving playful vintage-styled illustrations with bold type. Incorporating both Middle Eastern/Medditeraen with Premium British colour palletes that looked cohesive was a challenge but once but managed by separating the colours similar to the different aesthetic of each section of Advieh.

 

The refreshed brand identity was recieved with great excitment, with customers actively sharing positive feedback directly with Gene. The café is currently rolling out the newly designed assets across signage, packaging, and printed materials, with plans to continue further develop the illustration bank
